During 2018 PrePro combined with Ardenlea Fire Consulting to consolidate their expert fire design and fire strategy  services alongside our established H&S, CDM and Fire Risk Assessment services.

Fire design

We specialise in innovative fire design, particularly for those buildings that others have seen as too difficult.

We offer a Fire Design Review (FDR) and fire strategy  service for new developments and refurbishments. These will  accompany your  Building Regulations application (Regulation 38) to provide:

  1. A due diligence platform for regulatory fire safety compliance (once building is occupied) with the RRFSO.
  2. Compliance with Building Regulations.
  3. Produce a workable and effective fire alarm design that embraces regulatory compliance and out of hours fire resilience.

Our FDR is cost effective. Many fire safety design provision are  often over specified by Contractors who lack the detailed knowledge of Building Regulations and Approved Documents/guidance relating to fire safety.

Fire Risk Assessment

We undertake fire risk assessment audits of all types of premises; this includes production of an easy-to-read-and-understand prose report, with a detailed fire action plan. Our advice gives specific control measures for all significant findings identified during the assessment.

We do not “over specify” to reduce our own liabilities. Our solutions are presented and validated robustly (where necessary) free of charge on your behalf to enforcing authorities. We provide ongoing fire safety support free of charge for premises that we fire risk assess.

We also specialise in providing simple and effective compliance solutions for Enforcement and Prohibition Notices served by the Fire Service. We liaise with the Fire Officer on your behalf and are able to project manage any solutions.

Critical Friend Audits / On Site Support

We  offer critical friend fire safety management health checks to ensure that your organisation achieves and maintains statutory fire safety compliance. This will identify  cost savings based on replacement of valueless provisions with effective systems in line with how you  work!

It can be extremely costly to provide your own qualified fire safety expert in house. We offer prompt on and off site fire safety support. Our experience and personable approach means we can become a trusted part of your team today.

Fire Safety Training

In addition we regularly run courses covering both general CDM and specific dutyholder requirements (e.g. Principal Designer).
